We received some more parts today: two packs of linear rack gears, and two stepper motors and drivers. We thought we ordered stronger stepper motors, but again there was miscommunication. Therefore we are going to order the more powerful stepper motors made by the same company but that use the same drivers. Thus we just need to return the motors but not the drivers. They should come in Tuesday. In the mean time we can figure out how the driver and these stepper motors work so that we can hit the ground running when the more powerful ones come in.
There was an additional setback today; we still have not received the reed switches. We looked at one of the packing slips and realized that we were charged for them even though we didn't receive them Therefore the company had to be called and they should arrive Tuesday.
